There were more than 30 unique lobster roll nominations which is a lot of lobster rolls for one to consume so I’m going to take the top 10 most voted for lobster rolls and move forward in the challenge. Lobster rolls will be judged on Flavor (40 points), Lobster Meat Quality (20 Points), Cost (20 Points), Presentation (10 Points), and Miscellaneous (10 Points). 

There will be a community favorite award which each of you can vote on and then of course the Greatest Lobster Roll in Plymouth County award. So let’s begin this challenge! 

Piping Plovers

Each summer, piping plovers—small, stocky shorebirds with pale brown backs and distinctive black markings—return to Massachusetts beaches to nest. These federally threatened birds lay their eggs in shallow scrapes on sandy, open beaches and dunes, where both parents care for the young until they fledge. Once reduced to just 140 breeding pairs in the state, conservation efforts have helped their numbers grow to over 1,100 pairs as of 2023—making Massachusetts home to the largest Atlantic Coast population!
