Plymouth Pod #37
This week in Plymouth County.
Hi All! As we officially enter into October later this week, I’ve added quite a few fall themed activities. Have a fall event you’d like featured? Submit the event using the link below. See you out there!
Trail of the Week: Driftway Conservation Park in Scituate
Looking for wide-open views and a taste of local history? Driftway Park in Scituate offers 334 acres of salt marsh, woodland, and sandy trails. Climb Lookout Hill for a sweeping panorama of Third and Fourth Cliffs, or wander down to the old pier for fishing and birdwatching (keep your eyes peeled for ospreys and even the occasional eagle!). The park’s mix of marsh grasses, wildflowers, and young forest make it a haven for wildlife, while the easy trails are perfect for a relaxed walk. With plenty of parking, picnic tables, and even a small-craft launch ramp, Driftway Park is a hidden gem for both nature lovers and history buffs. Info to plan your visit.
