July 3rd t-shirts are here!
Happy Tuesday! Okay, big news first: the July 3rd t-shirts are officially here and open for pre-order! I love how these turned out, and the story behind them makes it even better. I teamed up with my brother's friend Curtis G. to bring these to life, someone who knows the magic of July 3rd in Plymouth.
Alright, let’s get into it!

July 3rd T-Shirts
The T-shirts are here! You can pre-order using this link and the t-shirts will ship in mid-late June so you’ll get them in plenty of time for the 3rd.
The pre-order will close June 2nd so make sure to get your shirt now!

Tides & Tails
Pets: Tex
Night Sky: Skies are getting darker again as the moon wanes to a slim crescent, perfect conditions for stargazing. The week's main event is the Moon-Venus close approach on May 18, when the two brightest objects in our evening sky will pair up in the west just after sunset.

Trail of the Week: The Great Pond Trail (Weymouth)
This one is short, sweet, and seriously underrated. The Great Pond Trail in Weymouth is a quiet, easy one-mile walk through the woods and along the shore of Great Pond, with beautiful water views and a surprisingly rich history hiding in plain sight. The trail connects Gifford Playground to Negus Park, winding past some impressive glacial erratic boulders and a mix of beech, pine, hemlock, and holly. Here's the cool historical nugget, a dugout canoe dating back to around 1500 B.C.E. was discovered partially buried along the shoreline back in 1965, likely an artifact of the Massachuseuk tribe. It now lives at Tufts Library in Weymouth if you want to check it out! A few things to know before you go: no fishing, no swimming, no boating (it's a public water supply), and sorry pup parents, no dogs on this one. It's a free, easy, dawn-to-dusk trail with ample parking at both ends. Perfect for a quick weekday escape.
