Unofficial Kick-Off to Summer
Happy Tuesday! We jumped right from spring-ish temps to summer and I’m here for it with the unofficial kick-off to summer happening on Monday.
Alright, let’s get into it!

Tides & Tails
Pets: Shadow the Yorkshire Terrier
Night Sky: The nights are getting shorter as we roll deeper into spring! The Moon is a slim Waxing Crescent at just 7.2%, which means dark skies and excellent stargazing conditions all week.

July 3rd T-Shirts (and onesies!)
As a reminder, the T-shirts are here! By request, we are now offering onesies for your little ones who are enjoying the holiday. You can pre-order using this link.
As a reminder, the t-shirts will ship in mid-late June so you’ll get them in plenty of time for the 3rd. Pre-orders are closing June 2nd.

The Theatre District in Plymouth (aka Priscilla Beach Theatre)
Priscilla Beach Theatre is known by many, but for some it may be a surprise that this theatre puts on shows throughout the summer. My husband’s sister studies musical theatre and she has heard of this coveted summer stock program and you’ll see that the talent comes from all over to be a part of the program
Founded in 1937 by Dr. Franklin Trask, Priscilla Beach Theatre was one of the pioneers of the “summer stock in a barn” concept. From the 1940s through the 1960s, the theatre was in its prime, buzzing with activity and hosting up to 150 performers each summer. Fun fact: Rob Reiner performed in Enter Laughing during the summer of 1965.
By the 1980s, summer stock went dark and was replaced by children’s theatre programs. But in 2013, locals Bob and Sandy Malone purchased the property and began its restoration. In 2015, summer stock theatre officially returned!
The season kicks-off this week and it looks like the first show is sold out so I would be sure to grab tickets to one of the shows this summer before it’s too late. Make sure to enjoy “broadway in a barn” this summer.
