Hi All! Happy Tuesday. This past weekend my family and I ventured for a quick outing to Bramhall’s Country Store in Chiltonville. I love perusing the shelves to see what they are carrying this season and notably, I was very excited by the Swedish candy although we ended up trying a double chocolate zucchini brownie (I don’t if that was the official product name), but it was delicious. Also, their tomatoes are complete stunners.

Night Sky: With the Moon a nearly invisible 0.9% crescent, this week brings dark skies and prime stargazing.The real headliner, though, is the Perseid meteor shower, which peaks the night of August 12 with the near-new Moon staying perfectly out of the way, so head somewhere dark after midnight and you could catch 50 or more meteors an hour.
