Signs of September are here which is fitting since it is September 1st. This morning I had to wait just a little longer for the sun to make its appearance (although its appearance was brief given today’s rain) before taking the dogs for a walk. This week is a bit light on events, but let’s get into it!

Night Sky: Later this month the Harvest Moon and Saturn will make a close approach, pairing up in the sky for a pretty sight. And keep an eye out, forecasters are saying this could be a good month for auroras, so if you hear chatter about solar activity, it's worth stepping outside and looking up.
