Hi All! Happy Halloween week, I’ve included a few opportunities to get into the season. A special call-out to Halloween on Main Street in Plymouth from 3-5pm on Friday. This is a great opportunity to support local businesses and for the little kiddos to celebrate Halloween.

Before we dive in, some exciting news: starting this month, The Plymouth Pod will send a bonus edition at the beginning of each month spotlighting upcoming events, especially the ones worth planning ahead for. Think of it as your monthly plan-ahead guide! The first edition lands November 1st, so if you’re a local business with an event coming up in November, send it my way. So I will see you all on Sunday just in time for the clocks to fall back in case you were looking for something to do with the extra hour outside of putting your Christmas decorations up (I tease!).

Night Sky: A nearly full Moon (96.5%) is running the show this week. With sunset at 5:43 PM and sunrise not until 7:10 AM, there’s plenty of night to catch Saturn shining with perfect visibility from dusk until about 5 AM. Today through tomorrow, the Moon cozies up to the Pleiades star cluster, which has an ancient tie to Halloween since it peaks overhead at midnight this time of year (grab binoculars to see past the moonglow)!
